What You Can Check, and What We Will Not Claim

Every claim on this page links to a register you can open yourself — three granted US design patents, two corporate registrations, and public customs records. Anything we cannot put a source against is not on the page, including some things a marketing department would normally write. We would rather you find a short list of checkable facts than a long list of adjectives.

Granted US design patents

Three design patents are granted and active. Each one can be opened on Google Patents and read in full — including the drawings and the examiner's citations. Note what they are: design patents protect the ornamental appearance of the product, not a mechanism. We describe them as such.

USD959699S1 Portable inflatable spray booth 2 Aug 2022
USD982183S1 Inflatable spray paint booth 28 Mar 2023
USD956194S1 Inflatable paint booth air draft device for indoor 28 Jun 2022

The third patent covers the Air Draft Device — the extraction component discussed on this site. The patent record for one family member also cites Sewinfla's own marketplace listing as prior art, which is a matter of public record.

Owner quotes, in their own words

Drawn from public marketplace reviews, reproduced with attribution and trimmed only for length.

★★★★★ “One of the best purchases I’ve made. Durable and portable. I’ve had it for 3 years and have painted countless pieces of furniture in it.”
Verified marketplace review

★★★★★ “After being deployed for almost a year, these guys still gave me a full refund on a very well constructed paint booth. It’s not made of cheap materials and is exactly as advertised.”
Verified marketplace review — 26×15×10 ft

★★★★★ “The sheer convenience of this thing makes it worth every penny. No more taping off the entire garage to paint! One of my blowers arrived damaged with a small crack. Without hesitation Sewinfla sent me another one.”
Verified marketplace review — 56×25×20 ft

★★★★ “The 210D Oxford cloth with PU coating is genuinely a step above the budget brands. Compared with the budget booth a friend runs, this fabric feels thicker and holds air pressure noticeably better.”

What owners complain about

Repeated across public reviews, and worth reading before you buy:

  • The air inlet can flap in wind and restrict airflow. Owners solve it with a small brace on the inlet. Reported on multiple models.
  • Overspray clears slowly on a single-blower configuration. This is why the exhaust fan and Air Draft Device exist — owners who add them report the fog clearing within about a minute of spraying. Plan for them if you are doing full panels.
  • The fabric is a consumable under very heavy use. One owner painting roughly seven days a month reported replacing the booth after about nine months, with a discounted replacement offered. Intermittent users report years of service.
  • The blower must run continuously on the Oxford-cloth line. That is how continuous-inflation booths hold pressure. If you need a booth that stands without power, the airtight PVC line is the alternative — it inflates once and stands for days.

Where our claims can be checked

Ratings and quotes on this page are attributed to the listings they came from. The engineering claims we make about airflow, enclosure and filtration are measured against published US federal rules, and each one is linked to the primary text below so you can read the requirement rather than our summary of it.

  • OSHA 29 CFR 1910.107(b)(5)(i) — the airflow floor. Air velocity over the open face of the booth, or across the booth cross-section during spraying, must average not less than 100 linear feet per minute (60 ft/min for electrostatic spraying), and the booth must carry a visible gauge, an audible alarm or a pressure-activated device to show it is being held. It is a cross-section average, not a reading taken at the workpiece.
  • 40 CFR 63.11173(e)(2) — the 98% filter requirement. Booth filters used for the target coatings must demonstrate at least 98% paint-overspray capture, by a procedure consistent with ANSI/ASHRAE 52.2-2017, and a booth used to refinish entire vehicles must be fully enclosed and operated under negative pressure. This is what a filter specification has to be written against.
  • 40 CFR Part 63 Subpart HHHHHH — who it applies to. The rule covers area-source shops that refinish motor vehicles and mobile equipment. Surface coating performed by an individual on a personal vehicle or property, as a hobby or for maintenance, is exempt — a distinction worth knowing before you buy either way.
  • OSHA 29 CFR 1910.106(d)(3)(i) — what a shop may store. A flammable-liquid storage cabinet is capped at 60 gallons of Category 1–3 liquids (120 gallons for Category 4), with a 30-day exemption for painting and maintenance quantities. This sets how much coating a shop may hold, not how large the booth is.
  • OSHA 1910.107(b)(8) and (b)(9) — clearance. Three feet of separation from other operations, and three feet of clear space around the booth, are written into the standard. On a site that measurement, not the vehicle, is usually what decides the footprint.
  • NIOSH isocyanate guidance — the painter. Two-part clears and polyurethane coatings are treated as respiratory sensitisers. Supplied-air protection is expected for spraying; the enclosure reduces exposure but is not a substitute for respiratory protection.

⚠ Not legal advice. Applicability depends on what you spray, how many vehicles or aircraft you refinish and where you operate. Verify requirements with your local air-quality agency, fire marshal and planning department before buying or operating any booth.

What we will not claim

A short list, because it matters more than the list above:

  • We do not claim that a Sewinfla booth produces a better finish than another correctly-set-up inflatable booth. The booth is the enclosure; the finish is made by the coating system, the air supply and the operator. What we compete on is airflow sizing to the application, the airtight option, custom build capability, US stock, and parts that stay available.
  • We do not claim domestic US manufacture. Products are made in the group's factories in China and Vietnam; design and inventory are American. "US-engineered, US-stock" is the accurate description.
  • We do not publish aggregate customer counts. Figures like "500,000+ businesses" or "millions sold" cannot be checked and we do not use them.
  • We do not describe component certifications as certified unless the certificate can be produced. If a compliance document matters to your purchase, ask for it in writing before ordering and we will supply what exists.

In service in industry

Sewinfla booths are used by commercial operations across auto body shops, marine yards, aviation operators and fleet maintenance facilities, alongside auto body shops, marine yards, aviation operators and fleet maintenance facilities. Documented deployments include a 90×25×20 ft modular pressure vessel booth, a 60×30×22 ft aviation booth, and a 56×25×20 ft salt-air marine booth.

How to check the claims on this page

Patents, corporate registration and what owners actually report — with the source for every one.

Does Sewinfla hold any patents?

Yes. Three US design patents are granted and active, each verifiable on Google Patents: USD959699S1 Portable inflatable spray booth (granted 2022-08-02), USD982183S1 Inflatable spray paint booth (granted 2023-03-28), and USD956194S1 Inflatable paint booth air draft device for indoor (granted 2022-06-28). These are design patents, which protect the ornamental appearance of the product rather than a mechanism, and should be described as such.

Where can I verify Sewinfla's corporate identity?

The US operating company is EJAEE INC, registered in California with a business address at 1510 N White Ave Suite B, La Verne, CA 91750, and its status is checkable in the California Secretary of State business search. The manufacturing arm is Guangzhou TKL Industrial Co., Ltd, which publishes its own site and factory addresses at tklindustrial.com, as does the Vietnam entity TKL-VN Industrial Company Limited (Vietnamese enterprise tax code 3703346984) at the same address published on that site.

What do owners complain about?

Three recurring themes in public reviews: the air inlet can flap in wind and restrict airflow (owners add a small brace); overspray clears slowly on single-blower configurations, which is why the exhaust fan and Air Draft Device exist; and the fabric is a consumable under very heavy use, with one owner reporting replacement after about nine months of near-daily work while intermittent users report years of service.

Are the marketplace ratings quoted here reliable?

They are quoted per listing with their review counts and the date they were recorded, so they can be checked against the live listing. Ratings change over time. We do not publish a single site-wide average because that figure cannot be checked by a reader.
